“We were part of a robbery attempt while taking the tour. It involved violence an and a horrific attack just steps away from Central Market. Right after we left the Empanadas Restaurant named Emporio Zunino. Two guys attacked us trying to steel our belongings. Be aware if you choose to take this tour and DO NOT CARRY ANY VALUABLES. This didn’t end well for us and there was no warning from the tour guide as to the conditions in the area we were taken to.”

Total steps walked was about 7,500 ( 3.5 miles) but not strenuous. The street art was fascinating. Highly recommend this tour of you want to experience the essential Valparaiso up close. Do it!
